Coach Flaco

Coach Flaco was born in the Bronx, NY and recently moved to Houston Texas in March of 2022. He fell in love with the game at the age of 4 years old and took it all the way through hs, where in his junior year of highschool, he received many offers from colleges such as St.Johns University, Georgia Tech and LSU but that light was dimmed due to major injuries that wouldn't allow him to continue taking it a step further. Flaco was a switch hitting player that you could place at any position on the field, but his primary position was shortstop. He didn't get to play in the league as he dreamed of doing but in 2010 he went on to play at a higher level in Puerto Rico and had the opportunity to work with Georgia Techs infield in 2012. In 2014, coach Flaco was blessed with twins and was engaged in November of 2021. Coach Flaco is excited to be apart of the Drillbit family and is looking forward to building confident/elite ballers. Let's go Roughnecks!

Coach Frugé

Coach Frugé grew up in Southeast Texas and moved to Tomball in October of 2016. He started playing baseball at a young age and his strong left throwing arm always caught people's attention.  Coach Frugé has coached youth teams as young as 4 all the way up to being an assistant coach at the high school level. He was a President of his local Little League prior to moving to Tomball.  He has been a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association for nearly a decade which has allowed him to travel to various places to learn about and coach the game including to the Dominican Republic.  He has received various certifications through USA Baseball as well as the National Alliance for Youth Sports.  One of his most prized certifications is his certification as an Associate Coach for Tom House Sports National Pitching. If that hasn't kept Coach Frugé busy enough, he is also the proud father to 5 children.  He and his wife are nearing 20 years of marriage.  Go Roughnecks!
