Privacy, photos and access.

How DrillBit handles athlete information, photos and accessibility on this website, in plain language.

01 — Athlete privacy

Kids first. Information last.

DrillBit is a youth organization, so this site shows as little about athletes as possible. What appears depends on age:

  • Under 14: first name and last initial only.
  • 14 and older: full name, grad year and position, and only when a parent opts in.
  • Never, at any age: phone numbers, email or home addresses, schools, birthdays, medical information or family details.

Registration and payments

Registration, waivers and payments go through DrillBit's own registration forms and payment links. This website doesn't take payments or keep registration records.

Forms on this site

  • Tryout & camp alerts ask for an email address only. It's used for news about camps, clinics and tryouts, and nothing else.
  • The contact form asks for your name, email and message, plus an athlete's age or grad year if you choose. It's used only to reply to you.

02 — Photos & media

No release, no photo.

An athlete's photo appears on this site only when DrillBit has a current media release on file for that athlete.

  • No current release means no photo and no player spotlight.
  • Release forms are kept by DrillBit, not on this website.
  • Want a photo of your athlete taken down? Send a message through the contact page and DrillBit will remove it.

03 — Accessibility

Built for every family.

Everyone should be able to use this site, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards or zoom. It's built with WCAG 2.1 AA as the target: readable contrast, descriptive image text, keyboard-friendly menus, and reduced motion for anyone who has turned it on.

If something here doesn't work for you, tell us through the contact page and we'll fix it or get you the information another way.
